| | Week of 11/22/2018 - Featured Blog Post Starting Over Doesn't Mean You Failed What do you think of when you hear the words "starting over"? Why is failure one of the first things that comes to mind? For example, a lot of people use the term starting over with respect to weight loss. If I'm starting over does that negate any progress I've made? Even if I've gained weight and am now heavier than when I started does that mean I'm a failure? Unfortunately, to many of us it does. But what if we thought about starting over as a "picking up where we left off"? My experiences, friendships and knowledge have all taught me something! Every failure and every success has been a lesson and like a good student I don't forget all of those. Yes, I might forget some of those things but they all form the path that has led me to where I am today. I'm not beginning totally fresh and for that I'm very grateful. Today marks the day when I'm resuming my journey. I've weighed myself, I've meal planned our evening meals for the week ahead, I've stocked our fridge with healthy food and most importantly, I've looked myself in the eye and said...."Starting over doesn't mean I'm a failure!"
