I Understand How, But How Do I?

I was speaking with a woman today who reminded me of something I've been told over and over again. Something I know in the back of my head.

You need to decide what you want and plan for it so you can have it. This means deciding what is important and prioritizing.

I've spent most of my life doing what I need to do. School, work, blah blah. I've got a huge list of "someday I will" but I figured I'd never get to do because of the need to do.

I'm starting to realize that the someday list is what I need to decide I want. Even if it's only one or two things. Then I can plan and make them happen. How do I decide what I want to do? See, sounds easy. Just pick something and make it happen. I have on open world of opportunity and possibility.

Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance!
