Week of 12/08/2016 - Featured Blog Post What Does SparkPeople Mean to You? HOLLYM48 When you think of this website, what do you think of? Do you think of it as only a weight loss site? Or do you think of it as a place to connect with some of the best people there are in this world? I need my Spark fix every single day. I log in and spin the wheel and track my calories and exercise but more importantly, I check in with all of you every single day. I check your status, I read your blogs, I celebrate your victories and I am cheering you on when things don't always go the way you want. Knowing we are all here to help you through it and to cheer you up is priceless! We all have good days and we all have some moments in our days that are not great. When I put comments on my status, people read it, like it, leave comments, and support and encourage me. I have found such great friends here that I can't imagine life without anymore. I can never ever express how much all of you mean to me. How much your support and encouragement mean to me. To know that you care. To know that all I have to do is reach out to any of you and you would help in any way you could. I have had the honor and privilege to meet a few of my very wonderful sweet SparkPeople friends. Truly, there is nothing more fun than meeting people face to face that you have had friendships with here on SparkPeople and getting to know them even better. I never imagined that I would find such wonderful friends through a weight loss site. I lost weight and gained friends that will be there for the rest of my life. Thank you SparkFriends for always being there and for always being supportive, encouraging, kind and loving. I could not imagine life without the support of my SparkPeople friends and I hope that someday I will meet even more of you wonderful people in person so we can go for a walk and share a laugh!
