I Believe In Small Steps Forward
JSTETSER

Every day I take a small step in the right direction. It's a step that I take with purpose. I'm not turning back from it. Maybe I don't go far today, but just wait until my year is over. I will have taken 365 steps in the right direction!

In January I made a commitment to do push-ups. I started with 8, and added one more push-up every day that I could. Now I'm up to 45. My sons are motivated to work out more. I keep challenging them to push-up competitions. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I could do 45 push-ups. I was hoping to be able to do 22, and look at me now! My next challenge is going to be pull-ups. I can't do any yet, but every day possible, I go out to the playground at school and try.

I believe in small steps forward. Every day I'll take at least one more step. I believe that small, consistent changes are the way to change the world. Small steps have changed me.
