Recipe of the Week
Quiche me, I'm hungry
The instructions for this recipe encourage you to make your own pie crust, but in all my years of making quiches, I've never prepared my own pie dough. Store-bought may not always be the most delicious, but it does save you so much time and effort. If you get yours at the grocery store, you can actually skip the first two steps of the recipe!
The other main ingredients are fairly simple — broccoli, mushrooms, cheese, eggs — and when combined, they create a filling, hearty texture. Although the recipe suggests using half-and-half, I prefer the richness of heavy cream in quiches. It adds a depth of flavor that closely resembles quiches you might find at a coffee shop.
Make this early in the week and you'll have several days' worth of breakfasts (or lunches or dinners). Or you could do what I do: Cut yourself little slivers as snacks between meals. FYI: Most quiches pair excellently with hot sauce!

Cambom Rotary Cheese Grater
Cambom Rotary Cheese Grater
Every time I use a regular box grater, I end up slicing my knuckles. It's a fate I had learned to accept until I saw this in an Instagram Reel. It comes with three blade options for slicing and grating cheese, potatoes, chocolate, and even cookies! The handle and the "food pusher" help you avoid any close contact with the sharp metals, so you don't have to worry about injuring yourself.
