| | Today's tip: Notice the emotions you experience while eating. | The goal of this activity isn't to judge, but to bring more awareness to your emotions, which is one of the core practices of mindfulness meditation. Becoming aware of the emotions you experience during and after meals can help you understand your emotional relationship with food. | During your next meal, focus on how you're feeling — emotionally, mentally, and physically. Ask yourself: | • | Does this food evoke any emotions? If so, which ones? (For some of us, food may not bring about positive feelings for a number of reasons, and that's OK!) | | • | What feels good right now, if anything? Is it the meal, atmosphere, or people I'm with? | | • | How do I feel after eating this? | | Remember: There are no right or wrong answers! Being "mindful" just means taking notice. | Take care of yourself, The Healthline Team | | | | | | Until next time, | | Take care of yourself, and we'll see you again soon! | | | | View in browser Did a friend send you this email?
