Andrew's Story - Our Co-Founder:

Hey! This is Andrew, co-founder of Original Grain and I wanted to tell you the story of how our Military Collection was created:

I served for 4 years as a Field Radio Operator in the Marines. During my tours, we moved a ton of radio equipment, ammunition & other classifieds in ammo boxes. I became very familiar with these wooden crates & I was impressed with how durable they were.

In 2018, we began serving our community in San Diego & partnered with Active Valor - A Veteran owned organization that connects Veterans with Gold Star families. We help mentor the children of our fallen heroes.

But, we wanted to donate more than our time. So, we created a collection of watches made from reclaimed military crates, where proceeds are donated to Active Valor as well.
