Our testers had *many* thoughts.

Our honest review of WHOOP 4.0 These days, there's no shortage of health trackers that can help you keep tabs on your daily activity. But if you're looking to get deeper, more granular insights into your exercise performance, sleep quality, and heart rate data, the WHOOP 4.0 provides a ton of data. After thousands — yes, thousands — of hours spent trying it out, our team of testers had a lot of opinions. "I love being able to track behaviors like eating late or drinking alcohol and seeing how these behaviors affect my recovery as well as metrics like resting heart rate and [heart rate variability]," Healthline's Wellness Integrity Manager Brooke Mathe shared. Ellen Landes, registered dietitian and long-distance runner, said that the data was "really interesting and useful for planning my training (running and strength-based training) sessions." Unlike many other trackers and smartwatches, the WHOOP 4.0 doesn't have a screen — you can only access your data via an app. Most notably, testers wished the tracker had a watch face to interact with: "I still find myself checking my wrist in vain for the time or my heart rate during a workout," Kristin Currin-Sheehan, multimedia editor, expressed.
