Alright, who else binged a little too much this Super Bowl Sunday? I imagine there are at least a few hands up out there, mine included (I might have been drowning my post-Saints-controversy sorrows...). Food-focused events like the Super Bowl often have power over people, making them feel badly for depriving themselves of the snacks or, conversely, making them feel guilty for indulging too much. If food has a lot of power over you, enjoying yourself with friends and family can feel almost impossible. The most important thing to remember, though, is that one meal will never have the power to change your life or your health. It's what you do after the binge that matters. Moderation is key, of course, but if you do overeat, remember that the next day is your chance to get back on track.
