| Week of 11/08/2018 - Featured Blog Post Searching for the Key For 40 years, I have been searching for the key that would open the door to weight loss for me. I tried every new gimmick and quick weight loss plan that came down the pike with varying levels of success, but none were the key to permanent weight loss. What I finally discovered was that the door was never locked. The only thing I needed was a healthy eating plan, consistent exercise and the time to let the two work together. I am not losing 3 to 5 pounds a week like I did on some diets, but I am losing 1.5 to 2 lbs a week, week after week, month after month. I feel I could stay on this plan forever, adding more calories as I reach my goal weight. With SparkPeople for support, motivation, and tracking, I know I have a healthy life ahead of me.
