| Week of 08/23/2018 - Featured Blog Post A Breakthrough! After months of no movement on the scale I'm finally having a breakthrough - but not in my weight - in the way I look and the way my clothes fit! It's a major thing for me! A few months ago I decided to put that expensive gym membership to use and start going. I admit I'm not going as often as I should, but every month I add a day or two and its working! What am I doing? Strength training! I spend 5 - 10 minutes warming up on the elliptical then do a total body work out on the machines. My body is looking toned, my clothes are fitting better, I'm getting stronger and my knees are feeling better. I'm liking the way I look in pictures and my self-esteem has greatly improved. I'm now motivated and inspired to try new machines, swim more and get back to a healthy body and self-image without being a slave to the scale!
