| | Week of 09/14/2017 - Featured Blog Post Is Your Glass Half Empty or Half Full? I woke up very early this morning and could not go back to sleep. I was ruminating and piling up the things in my life that 'aren't right'. Finally I sat up and turned on the light and grabbed a book that often inspires me. It made me realize quickly that while I may tend to feel that all of those problems have to 'go away', I may also see them as challenges, something to help me change my inner attitude and let go of attachments. I may feel that I have to lose weight, need better health, more friends, more money, less worries, better relationships, more fulfilling activities and so on and so forth. But I can also try to look at what things and circumstances I already have that I appreciate. It really is true that I can see the glass as half empty or half full. So while I was thinking about all the things in my life that are 'wrong' in my eyes and that 'need to change' the book helped me to see that what may need to change most or first of all, is my inner attitude. Do you see the glass as half empty or half full?
