As Co-Founder and COO, Kaycee is involved in every aspect of Apolla and wears many hats. From product development through customer service. She has her hands in every step of you getting the product from manufacturing to your feet! She is also our marketing, graphic design, and social media engine. A lifelong dancer with a M.S. in Kinesiology (the scientific study of human body movement), Kaycee has a deep understanding of the physical rigors dancers and athletes face each day.

Kaycee literally grew up in a dance studio - her mother was a dance teacher and a single mother of six.  Kaycee's classical dance training and interest in teaching led her to pursue a B.S. in Physical Education, Sport Science, and Dance at Idaho State University.

While earning her Masters at CSU Fullerton, she worked in Guest Talent at Disneyland. She also became a RYT-200 yoga teacher, personal trainer (NSCA-CPT), and a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).

After working as a dance teacher and coach with nationally ranked competitive dance, cheer teams, and teaching in inner-city Philadelphia schools, Kaycee worked in Admissions & Events Operations at Wharton's EMBA program.  These varied roles drove her to find an opportunity to bring together all of her passions and expertise.

A team from the School of Applied Health Sciences and Wellness at Ohio University affixed sensors to dancers' feet to record foot force during a dance sequence.  Dancers also jumped on force plates to record ground reaction force.
