As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread, some children may be experiencing increased fear. Here's how parents can help.
| As I sit here with my 1-year-old on my lap, having completed only three things on my lengthy to-do list and it's already lunchtime, I just want to say to all the parents out there, we feel you. These times are unprecedented. And whether you're feeling anxious about the unknown, wondering how working outside the home might make your family vulnerable, or trying to type with a toddler climbing on you, we want to support you in our collective new normal. We'll be sending you more relevant articles weekly in this email, and you can find a whole page of resources here. But before you dig into that: Stop. Take a deep breath. Find a place to be alone (even if it's the bathroom!) and check in. Have you eaten anything today? Had a sip of water? Do that. We'll be here for you when you get back.
