Here it is: As you eat, avoid using your phone or computer, don't read books or magazines, and keep the TV off. Whether it's working through lunch at a desk or noshing on chips while watching Netflix, distracted eating is common. But while it might seem harmless, it may encourage you to overeat. A review of 24 studies found that distractions led people to consume more calories during a meal.
