Somehow, February always seems to fly by. As someone who is aggressively anti-winter, though, I'm not complaining. For many, February is the month when you look at your goals and decide, am I in or am I out? It's common to feel like the New Year's shine isn't sparkling quite as bright and suddenly you're bored with your meal plan and exercise routine. I feel you. I'm currently going through a similar feeling of blah with my healthy routine, which has led to some not-great lazy decisions when it comes to food and fitness. The important thing to remember when you're down and that pint of ice cream you bought for emergencies is calling your name is how good it feels when you're staying healthy. Eating a burger feels great, yes, but only for about an hour. I find that when I push myself to go to my workout and sweat, I always, always feel fantastic afterward. It's all about tuning into those feelings when you're down and staying the course! I promise you'll feel great about it.
