| | Week of 06/22/2017 - Featured Blog Post Weight Loss Isn't My Goal Anymore ...and it's not because I am thin. I am chubby, and I do want to lose fat. But I've realized that becoming stronger and fitter is more important to me than changing the number on the scale or even my pant size. I want to take advantage of summer to establish good habits and create a well-being routine that I can stick to throughout the whole year. I want to eat less processed sugar, feel more energized, and sleep better. I want to run further and faster, and have fun doing it. I want to be able to do 3 sets of 20 push-ups. I will continue to keep track of my body-fat percentage, but won't stress about the number on the scale anymore. I don't like my current weight; it doesn't sound good to me. But when I look at the strength I've gained over the last 5 weeks, I love my body and what it can do. The 3 digits on the scale are NOT your whole story. Love your body and what it allows you to do.
